AGM Recap

I think it’s safe to say that the AGM was a successful evening and we had a great turnout – it was nice to catch up with friends and put faces to names.  Thanks to everyone who came out and a big THANK YOU to those involved in putting together the event!  If you were unable to attend, you can view the slide deck by clicking here. It includes our new clothing design for 2016 – fellow OCC member Clemente Botelho did an amazing job on it and we’ve received a lot of positive feedback on the design!

To add to the deck:

The proposed budget for 2016, circulated on Friday, was reviewed and accepted by the membership

  • Fred Moshenko, Joe Marangi and myself were nominated for, and accepted, positions of Secretary, Treasurer and President for 2016

Those in many of our non-elected positions are looking to continue in this capacity for 2016:

  • Bent Fink-Jensen:  Membership Administrator
  • Andy Saito:  Webmaster
  • Community Liaison:  David Harris and Leon Hawes
  • Clothing Coordinator:  Jen Bowman
  • Richard Higgins has agreed to help as Social Coordinator – thank you Richard!

We will require assistance to help with the following positions:

  • o   Ride Coordinator
  • o   Community Liaison
  • o   Socials
  • o   Ride Leaders

We all look forward together for the 2016 season.  If you are interested in helping out in any of the areas noted above, please let me know.  Stay tuned for details on some of the planned initiatives 2016 in the coming weeks.

2016 Club Registration

We expect to be ready to start accepting registrations for the 2016 season this week.  I will send an email with the registration link once we are confirmed  to be ready.

OCC Velodrome Night #2 – Saturday February 6th
